This BMW 1502 was completed on the 10th of November in 1976 and sold to the first Owner in Styria / Austria. In Summary there have been two Owners, this car has been on road until the 19th of march 2007.

After we have bought this complete, still drivable car, a full restoration has been started. Under the aspect of the “Charta from Turin” a new rebuild, based on single parts, was done by spending more than 1500 hours.

This perfect piece of art, painted in phoenix orange, is one of the rare original 1502´s on earth.

Compared to the 1602, the 1502 had less equipment, like a missing rear anti roll bar ,no rotatable vent windows and no chrome strips. The 1600 cc engine is fully rebuild with forged pistons and is nice to drive. 80mph in 3rd gear can be done easily. This 1502 feels to have much more power than specified from the factory.

In general this BMW is nice to drive with the brilliant working gearbox, makes no noises and has a very good working heating.

At any speed this car runs straight ahead, weather you accelerate or weather you brake hard.

Working on that project, we have had lots of expenses by using original parts from the factory. New bearings all over, new chrome, balanced propshaft, original sportrims and a petri steering wheel from the 70th.

Every single part has been done by the state of the art, what results in a brilliant drivable car for daily use with nice exhaust emissions!

The suspension set up showed perfect values and the wheelbase has got 2499mm each side. The rebuild of this BMW is fully documented by having about 900 pictures showing every detail and has got a certificate of quality.

This fully functional, original BMW 1502, with a total mileage of about 56K is now for sale !
